The Hygromer sensor was introduced in 1979 in response to industrial demand for better humidity measurement performance and lower costs. Since its launch, it has constantly been developed using the highest quality materials and the state-of-the-art production techniques. Today it still has the widest operating range of any %rh sensor in the market, working over the ranges of 0…100 %rh and –50…200 °C. Its superb reputation for long term stability is second to none, and many examples can be seen in use after more than 20 years. It is also able to withstand exposure to condensation without affecting calibration.
Hygromer® sensors are used in every product carrying the ROTRONIC brands Hygromer® and HygroClip®. Several versions are available with different characteristics:
IN-1
Applications: Industrial & commercial
Characteristics: Wide temperature range, resistant to corrosion & contamination.
WA-1
Applications: Water Activity measurement
Characteristics: Increased surface area to enhance response in low airflow
V-1
Applications: Agriculture, food storage, meterological
Characteristics: Withstands high humidity with long phases of condensation
M-1
Applications: Handhelds, weather balloons
Characteristics: Extremely fast response
HH-1
Applications: Sterilisers, autoclaves
Characteristics: H202 tolerant
NB: Temperature ranges vary according to the sensor type, protective filters are integrated where required to protect the sensor and prolong the working life. Please contact Rotronic or your local representative for more detailed information.
