
Dew point is a temperature independent measurement of the moisture concentration in a gas. MBW dew point hygrometers use ‘chilled mirror’ technology which precisely controls and monitors the temperature of a mirror’s surface within a sampling head to the exact point at which dew (or frost) forms. This technique based on fundamental physical principles, gives a rapid, highly accurate measurement. When combined with a high accuracy ambient temperature measurement this information can be used to give very accurate relative humidity measurement.

The MBW Calibration Model 973-SF6 Analyzer was specifically designed for measurement of humidity and SF6 purity in gas insulated switchgear systems.
