RADIATION SHIELDS

A range of radiations shields into which the various ROTRONIC meteorlogical probes can be fitted.
Active ventilation versions improve measurement performance in any condition by aspirating the probe continously so that solar radiation effects are minimised. Ventilation also minimises condensation on the probe, and ensures that when ambient %rh decreases below saturation, actual conditions are measured.
Passive types provide good measurement characteristics at a lower cost level.
